Dual-function Moisture Meter WIP-24

Moisture Meter WIP-24 is designed for quick and non-damaging measurement of moisture contents in wood and building materials. This instrument can measure moisture contents of practically all wood types (even the exotic ones) and building materials such as: concrete, brick, plaster, screed and gypsum. The values of density of most common wood types and building materials are printed on the back side of the instrument. This makes selection of wood type or building material very quick and easy. The instrument is simple to operate and very user friendly.
The device measures the dielectric constant (SIC) of the material. The material is penetrated by the electromagnetic field generated by the device.

The moisture meter is equipped with knobs for setting the density and thickness of wood and density and thickness of concrete and other building materials. The characteristic is based on the following assumptions:

for wood - doublesided natural drying process of timber,
for concrete - singlesided natural drying process of concrete.

In both cases the moisture meter measures the average moisture contents.
